German Tree Lighting

The German Tree Lighting is one of Folklore Village's most eagerly anticipated nights of the year. In keeping with the German tradition, fifty real candles are lit on a freshly-cut, 14-foot evergreen tree. The evening starts with a 5:30pm potluck. Bring a dish to share, and then stay to enjoy the beauty of the season with a joyful carol sing and family-friendly dancing around the tree. Musicians are welcome and encouraged to join in the informal “Folklore Village Volunteer Orchestra.” This is a popular event and may fill.
