Madison Maennerchor Choral Concert and German Tree Lighting

 Join us for a heartwarming evening celebrating German holiday traditions! Folklore Village is proud to host the Madison Maennerchor, Wisconsin’s oldest German singing organization, for the first time in a decade. Founded in 1852, the Maennerchor's mission is to preserve German and American choral music, culture, and *Gemütlichkeit*—a feeling of warmth, friendliness, and good cheer. After the special concert at the historic Plum Grove Church, we will move to Farwell Hall to light a 14-foot pine tree with real candles, the traditional German way, and gather around for holiday carols.
