Maple Syrup Making Demonstration at Donald Park

Join the Friends of Donald Park for a maple syrup making demonstration at Donald Park.  We will gather at the Hitchcock Farmstead (1870 Sutter Drive) for a brief presentation of the park's history, experience a boil down of sap gathered from the sugar maple trees and have a maple syrup tasting.  Guests will have the opportunity to hike out to the sugar maple grove and learn how trees are tapped and watch the flowing sap.
