Scandihoovian Partner Carry at Brix!

Compete for glory! Or come watch your friends and community members carrying their partners, because the Scandihoovian Partner Carry is perhaps the most amusing spectator sport ever invented.

One partner carries the other partner on their back, running through the snow, around a cone, and back to the finish line. Sometimes the competitors fall, and sometimes the audience falls over laughing.

If you want to compete, just show up 15 minutes early to register and sign a waiver (yeah, the waiver is mandatory). The more competitors the better!

Everyone competes in a qualifying wave, and then we have the final to see who the grand champion is. Winners in previous years were given beautiful, hand-crafted troll trophies that are certainly displayed prominently in their homes for a lifetime sense of deep pride and accomplishment.

Come right after the Spelling Bee and right before Turkey Bowling (The Partner Carry is a pretty short event), and don't forget to stop inside Brix to paint a gnome with Centerground Studios or to enjoy some great local food and drink.
