Spinning Wheel Basics

Spend a fun day getting acquainted with a spinning wheel! Adamah will open the class to 6 individuals at a time who would like one-on-one instruction on the basics of spinning wool into yarn. We will start with how to card wool into rolags, discuss wool roving and the difference between woolen and worsted yarn. Each participant will be provided an Ashford spinning wheel for the day, lots of wool and plenty of time to practice, practice, practice! Wind your handspun yarn onto a niddy-noddy and take home your skein of yarn! Fee includes lunch at Adamah.
