Wheel World

This fun fact-filled workshop will enlighten you about the many fascinating aspects of the wheel. Spend the morning learning about the rich history of the wheel, such as its birthplace, its traditional uses, and common wheel shapes as we enjoy a guided nature hike through Horizons trails.  In the afternoon, use a potters wheel to shape a raw lump of clay into a round ceramic vessel for your own personal enjoyment. Your creation will be available to take home at a later date.
